Private Drum Lessons

Looking for private drum instruction for yourself or your student? I’m available for in-home drum lessons in Lakeway, Bee Cave, West Lake Hills, Oak Hill, Sunset Valley, and South Austin.

My teaching style is song-oriented and revolves around teaching drums through music. I teach drum-specific techniques, music theory, and reading through the lens of specific songs chosen by either myself or the student. Students typically learn a new song every 4-6 weeks, keeping lessons fresh and fun!

All lessons take place in your home, and there are 1-2 performance opportunities each year. Recitals are highly encouraged and presented at no cost to you!

Lessons for ages 8 to 11 - 30 minutes

  • Exploring basic rhythms through games and pop/rock songs

  • Basic stick technique and rhythmic music theory

  • Preparation for middle school band if applicable

  • Basic limb independence
